Michael Pryor, a 27-year-old resident of Niagara Falls, NY, has been sentenced to 36 months in prison following his conviction on drug-related charges. The sentencing was delivered by U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo. Pryor was found guilty of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine and distribution of fentanyl near public housing property.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Timothy C. Lynch detailed that between June and October 21, 2022, Michael Pryor conspired with Shawn Pryor, Cameron Lee, and others to distribute cocaine. These individuals were identified as members or associates of the Crips Gang and supported each other in drug distribution activities.

On October 7, 2022, Michael Pryor sold fentanyl within 1,000 feet of Anthony Spallina Towers—a public housing facility—to an undercover officer. During the conspiracy period, he also sold cocaine, crack cocaine, and fentanyl to law enforcement officers.

The case further revealed that on October 16, 2022, Michael Pryor and associates attacked a rival drug dealer at a convenience store on Ashland Avenue in Niagara Falls. The victim suffered injuries including a hand laceration and wrist fracture.

Shawn Pryor and Cameron Lee have already been convicted for their roles in this operation.

This case is part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) initiative aimed at dismantling high-level criminal organizations through a multi-agency approach led by prosecutors. The investigation involved the FBI Safe Streets Task Force under Special Agent-in-Charge Matthew Miraglia's direction along with local law enforcement agencies.
