Attorney General Chris Carr announced that the Human Trafficking and Gang Prosecution Units have secured two new convictions in Gwinnett County. Jadah Henry, 22, from Pooler, Georgia, received a 25-year sentence after pleading guilty to racketeering, gang involvement, and human trafficking charges. She will serve 10 years in prison with the remainder on strict probation. Jayda Wilson, 27, from Lawrenceville, Georgia, was sentenced to 15 years for racketeering charges; she will serve five years in prison with the rest on probation. The pleas were accepted by a Gwinnett County Superior Court Judge on December 19.

"As we have said since the beginning – anyone engaged in human trafficking will be held accountable for their actions," Carr stated. "We’re committed to securing justice for survivors and working to combat gang activity in every corner of our state."

The convictions are part of an indictment involving eight defendants facing 97 charges including Trafficking of Persons for Sexual Servitude and Violation of Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act. Tyreek Raysheen Lee, another defendant from Norcross, had previously pleaded guilty to similar charges and was sentenced to 20 years.

The investigation began on May 19, 2022, following a shooting incident involving defendants Sean Harvey and Sean Curry. They are suspected members of the Last One To Take Over Gang (LOTTO or 30% Gang), linked to national gangs like Crips and Gangster Disciples.

Assistant Attorney Generals Kaitlyn Salinas and Thomas Kegley prosecuted the case with investigations led by the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Section.

Carr's Human Trafficking Prosecution Unit was established in 2019 with support from Governor Brian Kemp among others. Since then it has achieved numerous convictions and aided nearly 200 children. The Gang Prosecution Unit has also been active since July 1, 2022.
