Tammy Henriksen has retired after serving the North East Judicial District for over three decades. Her career spanned 32 years, 11 months, and 14 days in various roles within the court system. Since 1992, she has contributed to county court, district court, juvenile court, and most recently served as a Court Recorder for Judge Whelan.

A retirement celebration took place on December 20th at the Walsh County Courthouse. Judge Whelan acted as the Master of Ceremony. Remarks were given by Kelly Hutton, Unit One Court Administrator; Kristi Brintnell, Walsh County Commission Chair; the Honorable Lisa McEvers from the North Dakota Supreme Court; and the Honorable M. Richard Geiger, a retired District Court Judge.

In recognition of her passion for "The Beatles," well-wishers hope Tammy enjoys her retirement while keeping busy enough that it doesn't feel like there are "Eight Days (in a) Week." They also wish her many mornings where she can greet others with "Good Day Sunshine." As noted during her farewell: “Yesterday” was a great day and “Tomorrow Never Knows” what may come. Congratulations were extended to Tammy Henriksen.
