A Spencer man has been sentenced to eight years in prison for possessing over 5.2 kilograms of counterfeit Adderall pills containing methamphetamine. Jabriel Nabulsi, 30, received the sentence from U.S. District Court Judge Margaret R. Guzman and will also serve five years of supervised release following his prison term.

Nabulsi pleaded guilty in June 2024 to one count of possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of a mixture or substance containing methamphetamine. Law enforcement identified him as a distributor of significant quantities of counterfeit Adderall pills.

On December 27, 2023, authorities approached Nabulsi's vehicle near his residence in Spencer. Upon noticing law enforcement, he attempted to flee on foot with a blue bag but was quickly apprehended. Inside the bag were approximately 19 vacuum-sealed plastic bags containing orange pills marked "AD/30," weighing about 5.25 kilograms in total and testing positive for methamphetamine.

Additionally, a vacuum-sealed bag with around 300 grams of white substance tested positive for cocaine was found inside the blue bag. Smaller amounts of substances testing positive for cocaine were recovered from Nabulsi’s vehicle.

The announcement was made by United States Attorney Joshua S. Levy; Stephen Belleau, Acting Special Agent in Charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration in New England; Colonel Geoffrey D. Noble, Superintendent of the Massachusetts State Police; and Worcester Interim Police Chief Paul Saucier. Assistant U.S. Attorney Danial E. Bennett prosecuted the case.
