Mayer Brown is pleased to announce that partner Ann Richardson Knox has been appointed the global co-chair of the Women in Fund Finance (WFF) alongside Dee Dee Sklar. Ann was previously the America’s co-head of WFF and has been involved with the WFF since its inception in 2017. WFF is an affinity group of the Fund Finance Association (FFA), which is the non-profit industry organization for fund finance professionals. Ann is also on the US Advisory Board of the FFA.
Ann is the co-leader of Mayer Brown’s New York Banking & Finance practice and the global leader of the firm’s Fund Finance team. She represents major domestic and foreign investment and commercial banks, as well as alternative lenders, as lead agent and arranger in connection with subscription credit facilities, net asset value facilities, and other fund financings. Ann has been lead counsel on many of the largest and most complex facilities for funds sponsored by the world’s preeminent fund sponsors. She also led the first ESG subscription credit facility in the US market.Within the WFF community, Ann is known for her dedicated contributions to the industry and empowering women in advancing their careers. She received the Fund Finance Association’s “Dee Dee Sklar Women in Fund Finance Award” in 2021 in recognition of her contributions to women in the industry.
