Tiffany Isenhart, a former employee of the U.S. Postal Service, has been sentenced following her guilty plea to theft of government property. The 31-year-old from Rainelle was sentenced to one year and six months of federal probation and is required to pay $3,380 in restitution.

Court documents reveal that between December 1, 2023, and April 16, 2024, Isenhart stole $3,380 in money orders while working at the Charmco Post Office. She admitted to using her position to issue money orders to herself without making any payments or covering associated fees.

The announcement was made by United States Attorney Will Thompson, who praised the investigation conducted by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service-Office of Inspector General.

The sentencing hearing was overseen by United States Magistrate Judge Omar J. Aboulhosn. Assistant United States Attorney Alexander A. Redmon prosecuted the case.
