The North Dakota Office of Attorney General has announced an opening for the position of Assistant Attorney General. The role is full-time and comes with a state benefit package. The salary range for this position is between $81,000 and $105,000 annually. Applications are open to both internal and external candidates until December 24, 2024.
The successful candidate will work within the Civil Litigation Division in Bismarck, North Dakota. Responsibilities include providing litigation advocacy for state agencies and officials in areas such as social services, civil rights, constitutional law, and labor law. Duties involve legal research, client communication, case management, and participation in training courses.
Applicants must be licensed to practice law in North Dakota or expect imminent admission to the bar. High ethical standards and excellent communication skills are required. Experience in civil litigation is preferred.
