Holland & Knight advised Blue Wolf Capital, a private equity firm, in its sale of a majority stake in The State Group to funds associated with Apollo Global Management Inc. (NYSE: APO). Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The deal was announced on November 18.
Based in New York, Blue Wolf Capital is a middle market private equity firm that invests in buyouts, recapitalizations and growth capital opportunities.
Headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee, The State Group is a leading provider of electrical, mechanical, robotics and automation services. Blue Wolf will retain a minority stake in the business, alongside existing management shareholders.
