Holland & Knight Recognized for Four Top Deals at 23rd Annual M&A Advisor Awards

 Four transactions closed by Holland & Knight were named "Deals of the Year" at this year's Annual M&A Advisor Awards, hosted by The M&A Advisor. Winners were announced at the 23rd Annual M&A Advisor Awards in New York on November 20.

• The acquisition of USA Debusk LLC by H.I.G. Capital was named Private Equity Deal of the Year (over $500M). The Holland & Knight team representing USA DeBusk in this deal included Partners Tim Samson, Walker Brierre, Ronnie Dabbasi, Marc Druckman, Kerry Kehoe, Arthur Lotz, Roger Aksamit, Brandon Bloom, Tony Campiti, Neely Munnerlyn, and John Dierking; Senior Counsel Barbara-Ellen Gaffney and Jose Almanzar; and Associates Samson Goriola, Alec Gonzalez Whitsell, Nikolai Hood, Eric Alborn, Ana Carvajal, Amir Saboorian, Jiyeon Barta and Emily Nguyen.
• The acquisition of I-Deal Optics Inc. by Highland Rim Capital was named Private Equity Deal of the Year ($10M to $25M). Holland & Knight Partner Nick Rew represented Highland Rim Capital in the transaction.
• The recapitalization of JDC Power Systems by Madison River Capital was named Utilities Deal of the Year. Holland & Knight Partners Christopher Froelich and Aaron Slavens and Associate Francesco Salpietro represented Madison River Capital in the transaction.
• The debt refinancing of C3 Rentals Inc. by WhiteHawk Capital Partners was named Financials Deal of the Year (under $500M). Holland & Knight Partner Eric Kimball represented WhiteHawk Capital Partners in the transaction.
