Dinsmore & Shohl LLP is pleased to announce that Ryan McDonald, will be rejoining the Firm’s Indianapolis office as partner. Ryan previously worked with Dinsmore for five years, during which he built a reputation as a trusted real estate advisor, focusing on finance and development with a particular emphasis on multifamily property transactions.

Ryan represents lenders in debt financing for the acquisition, refinancing and construction of multifamily properties, skilled nursing facilities, medical office buildings and other commercial properties. He also guides borrowers and lenders navigating transfers of physical assets and other asset management issues for projects with FHA-insured financing.

“I’m thrilled to be back at Dinsmore and to rejoin a team that values collaboration and client-centered service,” said Ryan. “It’s exciting to reconnect with clients I’ve worked with in the past and to continue building on those relationships as we take on new opportunities together.”

Ryan’s return comes as the Indianapolis office welcomes associate Sydney Schroeder, and associate of Counsel M. Catherine Fanello, who is also rejoining Dinsmore.

“Ryan is an exceptional attorney whose deep knowledge of real estate finance, often involving complex loan transactions and development, will be an asset to our clients,” said office managing partner Michael “Misha” Rabinowitch. “His return, along with the addition of Sydney and Catherine, marks an exciting period of growth for our Indianapolis office as we continue to strengthen our service offerings.”

Ryan earned his J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, and he is enthusiastic about returning to the region. He looks forward to establishing new connections and actively engaging with the community.
