The annual observance highlights the importance of finding permanent homes for children in foster care. This year, due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns, all celebrations will be conducted remotely.
In Baltimore City, the Circuit Court will host its 15th annual celebration on November 20 at 10 a.m. Judges Audrey J.S. Carrión, Emanuel Brown, and Michael DiPietro will oversee the event, which includes guest speakers and post-ceremony festivities for adoptive families. The event is organized in collaboration with the Bar Association of Baltimore City and the Baltimore City Department of Social Services. Prince George’s County will conduct its virtual ceremony titled “All You Need Is Love” on November 18 at 10 a.m., led by Judges Sheila R. Tillerson Adams and Judy L. Woodall.
