Maryland seeks feedback on remote bar exam plan for October

The Maryland Court of Appeals is inviting comments on an update from the State Board of Law Examiners regarding the upcoming October 2020 Remote Bar Examination. This follows an Emergency Petition for Temporary Suspension of UBE Requirement and Order Granting Emergency Diploma Privilege Plus, prompting the Court to seek further information.

According to the update, the State Board of Law Examiners will conduct the remote bar exam using materials from the National Conference of Bar Examiners and software provided by ExamSoft.

Comments on this update can be submitted to the Maryland Court of Appeals Clerk’s Office until 4:30 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2020. Submissions can be emailed to [email protected] or delivered in person to 361 Rowe Blvd., Annapolis, Md., 21401.
