The Circuit Court for Baltimore City has launched a redesigned website, incorporating updated technology and a modern, responsive design. The new site aims to improve user navigation with fewer clicks required to access information. It also features a mobile-friendly interface, enhancing accessibility on smartphones and tablets.
"Today marks an important step by Baltimore City Circuit Court toward replacing aging and outdated technology infrastructure," stated Judge W. Michel Pierson, Administrative Judge for the Eighth Judicial Circuit (Baltimore City). "We believe this update will help streamline court users’ online experiences while increasing access to justice."
Visitors will notice a new homepage design that is more interactive. Features include interpreter forms that can be filled out and submitted online to request an interpreter. The site also offers quick-link side navigation tabs for better content organization and access. A prominent scrolling banner is available to highlight important information such as courthouse closings, special announcements, and emergency situations.
Further enhancements are planned in the coming months.
