Michael de Leeuw Honored by Access Justice Brooklyn with the Dedication to Justice Award

Michael de Leeuw, vice-chair of the firm’s Business Litigation group, has been selected to receive the Access Justice Brooklyn Dedication to Justice Award. He will be formally recognized at the Access Justice Brooklyn Annual Gala on November 19. This gala celebrates and honors the work of extraordinary individuals and innovative leaders who have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to serving the public good and equal justice.

Michael is a skilled litigator who leads high-profile, complex matters in federal, state, and appellate courts across the country. Michael has a diverse practice with deep experience in the areas of appellate law, distressed real estate, class actions, antitrust, defamation, and securities litigation, as well as in precedent-setting matters before federal circuit courts and the U.S. Supreme Court.

About Access Justice Brooklyn

Founded in 1990 as the Brooklyn Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project, Access Justice Brooklyn is an independent 501(c)(3) organization offering free legal advice and representation to people who cannot afford it. Access Justice Brooklyn partners with pro bono attorneys to provide high-quality, civil legal services that help ensure equal access to the legal system. Through direct services, education, and outreach, the organization supports individuals in the borough while dismantling systemic barriers to justice.
