Fox Rothschild congratulates Kristen W. Broz, Co-Chair of the firm’s Antitrust Practice Group, on her recognition as a Washington, DC Rising Star by The National Law Journal.
Part of the publication’s annual Professional Excellence Awards, the list features the “40 most promising lawyers under 40” who have “wielded influence in their practice areas in the DC area and beyond.”
One of her most significant accomplishments to date was her role in successfully removing a worldwide temporary restraining order in an international trademark dispute that threatened to put client Noorio Innovations Limited of Hong Kong out of business.
“The order had removed all the company’s products from Walmart and Amazon, seized and froze its bank accounts,” she told the National Law Journal. “We prevailed in having the restraining order lifted, the client’s accounts were unfrozen and Noorio was able to sell its products again.”
Broz represents clients across the United States in high-stakes class action, data privacy, antitrust, intellectual property and federal government contracts litigation.
A testament to her leadership in the profession, she is also a member of the 2024 Class of Fellows for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, which consists of more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession.
