Clark Hill announced that Conor Kenny has joined its Transatlantic Practice as an International Business Coordinator.

Kenny is based in Dublin and will focus on driving European-based business to the U.S. in addition to supporting American organizations expanding into Europe.

Kenny has spent the last eight years working at the U.S. embassy in Dublin by acting as the U.S. government’s lead advisor for supporting inward investment from Northern Europe into the United States. In that time, he has facilitated more than $12 billion of Northern European investment projects into the U.S.

“We’re very excited about Conor joining us given his deep connections in Select USA and to the US Embassies throughout Northern Europe,” said Kevin Kent, chair of Clark Hill’s Transatlantic practice. “These relationships and his experience in the cross-border business-growth space bring a substantial additional layer of support to our clients as we continue our commitment to provide practical, business-focused advice to businesses coming from Europe into the U.S.”

Kenny has previously worked alongside Clark Hill on numerous initiatives that occurred in tandem with the U.S. Embassy Dublin. As that relationship grew, Kenny saw a growth opportunity to better support businesses from the private sector.

“This is a natural progression for me to join Clark Hill and help grow the firm’s business development efforts with European companies with whom we’re working in the U.S.,” Kenny said. “In this new role I will be able to significantly broaden and increase my assistance to companies doing business on both sides of the Atlantic.”

Kenny is Clark Hill’s latest addition to a transatlantic and international practice that also includes a quickly growing Mexico City office.

“Conor’s ties to the U.S., Ireland, and Europe will be a tremendous asset to strengthening our international relationships,” said John Hensien, Clark Hill CEO. “We’ve been familiar with Conor and his accomplishments for several years, and we’re thrilled to have him join us.”

Prior to joining the U.S. Embassy Dublin, Kenny was the head of investment for the British Embassy Dublin for three years. He earned a master’s degree in International Business at UCD Smurfit Business School.
