Bradley is pleased to announce that Alé Dalton, a partner in the firm’s Nashville office, is the recipient of Bradley’s 2024 Diversity Leadership Award.
Established in 2015, the annual Diversity Leadership Award recognizes a Bradley partner who demonstrates an exceptional commitment to promoting and advancing the firm’s goal of being a diverse and mutually supportive community.
“Alé is an incredible champion for the firm’s efforts in providing a culture of inclusion, and we are proud to honor her with our Diversity Leadership Award,” said Bradley Chairman of the Board and Managing Partner Jonathan M. Skeeters. “We are grateful for the impact she makes at our firm and within the community. She has been instrumental in the growth and influence of the Nashville Hispanic Bar Association, and she continues to drive initiatives that help advance diversity and inclusion.”
Bradley’s Director of Inclusion and Diversity George D. Medlock, Jr., added, “Alé is truly invested in the future of the legal profession and has been an incredible asset to our firm, embodying our core values through her efforts in recruiting, mentoring, and serving in leadership roles in the firm’s Lawyers of Color Resource Group and the Women’s Initiative, as well as providing invaluable guidance and support to other attorneys.”
Ms. Dalton joined Bradley in 2016 as a member of the firm’s Healthcare Practice Group and was elevated to partner in 2024. She concentrates her practice on guiding clients through the highly regulated landscape of the healthcare industry, providing practical advice on a wide range of transactional, operational and regulatory matters. As part of her practice, Ms. Dalton is actively involved in efforts to meet gaps in the legal services industry through Bradley’s pro bono program and by helping staff community legal clinics. She serves as the vice chair of the firm’s Lawyers of Color Resource Group and is a liaison for Bradley’s Women’s Initiative.
In 2024, Ms. Dalton was appointed to a two-year term as chair of the American Health Lawyers Association’s (AHLA) Early Career Professionals Council. She helped establish the Nashville Hispanic Bar Association and has worked with organizations to support the advancement of Hispanic families and students in the Nashville area. Her philanthropic and professional work has been recognized by several local and national organizations. Ms. Dalton was named to the Hispanic National Bar Association’s 2023 “Top Lawyers under 40” list, and she is a recipient of the University of Tennessee Knoxville’s Alumni Promise Award and the Nashville Emerging Leaders Award in Legal Services. She also received Bradley’s Cameron J. Miller Award for Excellence and Community Service.
Ms. Dalton earned her J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law and received her B.A. from Lipscomb University. While attending law school, she served as executive editor for the Tennessee Law Review and a senior editor of Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law. She is currently a member of the University of Tennessee College of Law Alumni Council.
