Alana T. Sliwinski, a counsel in Troutman Pepper’s national Construction practice, has been appointed 2025 president-elect of CREW New York, the premier business network for commercial real estate professionals in New York. Sliwinski will serve as president in 2026 and immediate past president in 2027. She has been a long-time member of CREW New York, previously serving on the Board of Directors as Programs Chair, and as a member of the Executive Committee, as Secretary to the Board of Directors.

The CREW New York chapter of the CREW Network was founded in 1978 to connect commercial real estate women in New York with business opportunities. Today, with approximately 250 members in the CREW New York Chapter (and 14,000 professionals across the globe through CREW Network), the organization works to advance all women in commercial real estate through business networking, leadership development, career outreach, and industry research.

At Troutman Pepper, Sliwinski partners with clients to solve complex legal issues at the intersection of construction, real estate, and technology — balancing the law with pragmatic, business-focused solutions. She represents real estate owners and developers throughout the development, design, construction, and operation of residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects nationwide.

Earlier this year, Sliwinski was recognized among Law360’s 2024 Rising Stars as a top attorney under 40 in the construction sector. She also was honored by The Stamford Jewish Community Center (JCC) with The JCC Emerging Leader Award for her exceptional contributions to the organization and greater community. She previously has been recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch and the Women Builders Council as one of the Outstanding Women in the Building Industry.
