On October 21, 2024, the Statewide Grand Jury issued indictments in two separate cases involving serious charges.
Ryan Lackey, a 27-year-old resident of Cranston, Rhode Island, faces multiple charges related to drug possession and firearms. He has been indicted on one count of possession of more than one kilogram of methamphetamine, one count of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, one count of carrying a pistol without a license, one count of possessing a firearm while in possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, and one count of possessing a large capacity feeding device. These alleged offenses took place in Warwick on or about January 10, 2024. The investigation was conducted by the Warwick Police Department. Lackey is scheduled for arraignment on November 15, 2024, at Kent County Superior Court.
In another case reported by the Statewide Grand Jury on the same day, Danielle DelQuaglio from Coventry has been charged with first-degree robbery. The alleged incident occurred in West Warwick around September 26, 2023. This case was investigated by the West Warwick Police Department. DelQuaglio's arraignment is also set for November 15, 2024, at Kent County Superior Court.
The indictments are merely allegations at this stage; both defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
