Attorney General Tim Griffin issued the following statement announcing two promotions and an organizational shift in his office:
“I am moving my Consumer Utility Rate Advocacy Division (CURAD) under the leadership of Deputy Attorney General Doralee Chandler, who leads our State Agencies Division. Given CURAD’s consistent interaction with state regulatory bodies, this move makes sense and will make our team more efficient and more effective in advocating for Arkansas’s ratepayers.
“I am also pleased to announce the promotion of Christine Cryer to Deputy Attorney General of the Public Protection Division, and Jordan Broyles will continue serving as Senior Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Litigation Division, but will assume the additional duties of Chief, Special Litigation Section. These changes will strengthen our office, increase our efficiency, and improve our ability to serve the people of Arkansas.
“Deputy Attorney General Cryer has worked for four attorneys general, and her vast experience in this office will be invaluable in leading our Public Protection Division.
“Senior Assistant Attorney General Broyles will move into the leadership role previously held by Deputy Attorney General Cryer. In her nearly two years working at the Office of the Attorney General and in her previous private sector work, Senior Assistant Attorney General Broyles has established herself as one of the top litigators in the state.”
