Attorney General Tim Griffin has announced that the Office of Solicitor General, part of the Arkansas Attorney General's Office, received a 2024 United States Supreme Court Best Brief Award. The recognition comes from the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) for their work on a multistate brief in the case Muldrow v. St. Louis, which focused on Title VII claims.
Griffin praised the team, stating: "Solicitor General Nicholas Bronni, Deputy Solicitor General Dylan Jacobs, and Senior Assistant Solicitor General Asher Steinberg have been awarded a 2024 United States Supreme Court Best Brief Award by NAAG for their multistate brief in Muldrow v. St. Louis, which addressed the proper legal standard for Title VII claims."
He further expressed pride in his team: "This award confirms what I already knew: Arkansas’s Solicitor General team—attorneys and support staff—is among the very best anywhere and have earned respect and accolades nationally for their excellence. I am proud to work with them every day and appreciate their dedication to mission, keen insight and mastery of the law."
The Best Brief Awards are presented annually to recognize outstanding brief writing at the United States Supreme Court level. These awards honor appellate practitioners from state attorneys general offices who frequently handle significant cases before the court.
The selection was made by a panel comprising independent experts experienced in United States Supreme Court practices.
