Attorney General Gentner Drummond commented today on the execution of Emmanuel Littlejohn, who was convicted and sentenced to death for the murder of Kenny Meers during a convenience store robbery in June 1992.
"Justice has been served for the murder of Kenny Meers. I pray that today brings some measure of peace to the Meers family who has waited 32 long years for justice to be served," said Drummond.
Littlejohn's execution marks the conclusion of a case that began over three decades ago, with the conviction stemming from a crime committed in Oklahoma City.
