The Heather & Thistle Pipes and Drum Corps recently performed to welcome veterans at Hector International Airport. This event was part of the historic Veteran’s Honor Flights of Minnesota and the Dakotas, which departed for Washington D.C. on Sunday morning, September 22, 2024. Over 100 veterans traveled on these two flights to the nation's capital.
Justice Lisa McEvers participated in the performance with the Heather & Thistle Pipes and Drum Corps. The group was directed by Pipe Major Dan Aird.
