Elder has been selected to the Crain’s Cleveland Business 40 Under 40 class of 2024, the publication’s annual list honoring rising stars across a range of industries in Northeast Ohio. Elder will be honored during the annual 40 Under 40 celebration on November 21, 2024 and in a feature in the Crain’s Cleveland Business print edition on November 18, 2024.

In her Business Litigation practice, Elder represents businesses, including commercial real estate developers, financial institutions, and institutions of higher education, on a range of complex issues. She has experience with all aspects of the litigation process, representing clients in state and federal courts as well as in arbitration.
Elder is actively involved in her community serving as a member of the board of trustees for the Cleveland State University Law Alumni Association and the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority. Additionally, Elder takes an active role in the legal community as a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the Norman S. Minor Bar Association, and the National Association of College and University Attorneys.
