Attorney General Murrill's cyber unit arrests Loranger man for child pornography

Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit arrested a Loranger man on August 29, 2024.

Marvin Cutrer Jr., 35, of Gliderport Road in Loranger, was arrested for violating the following:

- Possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of Thirteen; fifteen counts.

- Distribution of Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of Thirteen; five counts.

Agents received an initial tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The arrest followed a joint investigation involving Attorney General Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit, U.S. Homeland Security Investigations, and the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Cutrer was booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail. The investigation remains ongoing.
