Global legal and compliance technology company, Relativity, has recognized Troutman Pepper eMerge as a finalist for the Best Innovation: Enterprise category in the 2024 Relativity Fest Innovation Awards. The program celebrates change makers in tech who are making an impact by building custom solutions, empowering people and forging new paths to improve the legal industry and its communities.

Troutman Pepper eMerge has been acknowledged for its Flywheel application, which leverages OpenAI’s GPT-4 Omni frontier model to analyze documents. Flywheel enables users to select from a library of pre-developed prompts or collaborate with Troutman Pepper eMerge to create entirely new prompts tailored to their needs.

“We are honored to be recognized by Relativity for our innovative efforts in developing applications that harness technology to enhance the speed and accuracy of specific legal tasks,” said Alison Grounds, Managing Partner of eMerge. “The integration of Flywheel is transformative for both our clients and attorneys. For our clients, it translates to faster, more precise, and cost-effective document analysis tailored to their unique needs. For our attorneys, it enables them to concentrate on higher-value tasks and strategic planning, thereby improving overall efficiency and effectiveness in delivering premier legal services.”

This recognition follows Troutman Pepper eMerge’s win in the 2022 Best Innovation: Enterprise category for its Xtractor application, further solidifying the firm’s reputation as a leader in legal technology innovation.

The Relativity Fest Innovation Awards celebrate both individual contributions to the e-discovery community as well as the new and innovative solutions for the Relativity Community that help lawyers and litigation support experts solve complex or unique issues inside and outside of e-discovery. Finalists are decided by a judging committee unique to each award category, and winners are determined through a community vote. Winners will be announced at Relativity Fest 2024, taking place from September 25-27.
