Attorney General Murrill commented on the ruling: "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED: The Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled in our favor against President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris' unconstitutional and 'arbitrary and capricious' assault on our 2nd Amendment rights."
The contested regulation had imposed severe penalties on Louisianans who did not comply, including a $10,000 fine and up to 10 years in prison.
