Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit arrested a Slidell man on August 13, 2024.
Ryan Wesley Cadard, 34, of Maplewood Drive in Slidell, was apprehended for violating:
- LA R.S. 14:81.1 (Distribution of) Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of Thirteen; fifty-five counts
- LA R.S. 14:81.1 (Possession of) Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of Thirteen; six counts
Agents initially received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
This arrest resulted from a joint investigation involving General Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, and the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Cadard was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail.
There is no bond information at this time.
