Teenager arrested by Louisiana cyber crime unit for possession of juvenile pornography

Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit arrested a Slidell teen on August 13, 2024.

Seventeen-year-old Hunter Jeffrey Puckett, of Brisbane Court in Slidell, was arrested for violating LA R.S. 14:81.1 (Possession of) Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of Thirteen; two counts. Agents initially received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

This arrest was a result of a joint investigation involving General Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Slidell Police Department.

Puckett was transported to the Slidell City Jail and later to the St. Tammany Parish Jail. There is no bond information at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
