Respected across Ohio for her incredible success defending physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice, wrongful death actions and personal injury cases, Dinsmore and Shohl LLP announces today the addition of Bobbie Sprader to the Firm’s national Healthcare practice. In the move to Dinsmore, Bobbie brings a dynamic team of experienced litigators, including Karen Clouse, Terri Gregori, Zachary Hoover and Karin Long, adding additional depth to Dinsmore’s formidable Tort group.

In her three decades of practicing law, Bobbie has developed deep experience conducting jury trials and presenting arguments before various appellate courts. Most notably, as lead counsel in the landmark case Comer v. Risko, she successfully argued before the Ohio Supreme Court. Clients value her team’s personal touch, responsiveness and ability to explain strategies clearly, making them feel secure. “We know what we’re doing, and we take great care of our clients,” Bobbie said.

Dinsmore’s multidisciplinary healthcare practice is well-versed in a wide range of services, including regulatory compliance, transactional matters, internal investigations, HIPAA and cybersecurity, credentialing and False Claims Act defense. “It is a well-respected firm with a strong substantive healthcare practice,” Bobbie said. “In representing my healthcare clients, I frequently identify issues that fall outside my area of expertise. Having the specialized knowledge immediately available from in-house colleagues will allow me to quickly and efficiently provide a comprehensive response to my clients for the best possible service.”

Adding Bobbie’s team in Columbus enhances the bench strength of an office that has experienced remarkable growth under the leadership of office managing partner and corporate healthcare attorney Stacey Borowicz.

“Bobbie has been recognized as a thought leader in the professional liability defense field for nearly three decades and her team delivers excellent results and wise counsel that will greatly benefit the clients we serve,” Stacey said. “They are also tremendous people who will be a great cultural fit with Dinsmore and our Columbus office.”

Bobbie earned her Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and graduated cum laude with her undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University. Karen and Terri also received their law degrees from Ohio State, while Zachary and Karin completed their undergraduate studies there.
