America First Legal reacts to Supreme Court’s decision on presidential immunity

WASHINGTON, D.C. – America First Legal (AFL) released statements today following the Supreme Court of the United States' decision in Trump v. United States, which grants Presidential immunity to President Donald J. Trump. AFL had filed an amicus brief in support of Presidential immunity on behalf of U.S. Senator Roger Marshall and 26 members of Congress.

Gene Hamilton, Executive Director of America First Legal, commented: “The Biden Administration is engaged in an unprecedented campaign of political persecution of its opponents, most notably, President Trump. The Supreme Court was right to recognize that the President enjoys immunity for official acts–which are at the heart of this biased prosecution by Jack Smith and the Biden Department of Justice.”
