John Huber and Annette W. Jarvis, shareholders in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Salt Lake City office, were recognized in Utah Business magazine's 2024 edition of “Legal Elite.”
This recognition, awarded by a panel of legal and law enforcement experts, selects only 100 legal professionals, according to the publication. Those chosen are recognized for their exceptional legal experience, high ethical standards, and professional achievements, underscoring their respect and reputation within the legal community.
Huber, a former U.S. Attorney for the District of Utah, has tried hundreds of civil and criminal cases to verdict in federal and state courts. At Greenberg Traurig, he focuses on White Collar Defense & Investigations, counseling clients on federal law in the health care, aerospace and defense, cryptocurrency, hazardous materials, and customs enforcement spaces, among other areas. Huber also helps businesses expand and operate internationally.
Jarvis, who is managing shareholder of the firm’s Salt Lake City office, represents banks, financial institutions, and other parties on matters related to Restructuring & Bankruptcy cases and out-of-court workouts and cross-border insolvency cases. Her experience includes representing creditors, debtors, boards of directors, trustees, receivers, public bond holders, purchasers of distressed assets, and indenture trustees and foreign representatives. She also has wide-ranging experience in receivership cases and testifies regularly as an expert witness on aspects of U.S. bankruptcy law.
