TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Legal Newsline) - A Florida man says he was stabbed five times then thrown out of a club, where he collapsed in a "blood-soaked heap."

Cameron Roshard Douglas filed a lawsuit June 7 in Leon County Circuit Court against Next Door Entertainment, Inc., alleging negligence after being stabbed multiple times at Bajas Beach Club in Tallahassee.

The incident occurred on February 27, 2021. According to the complaint, a verbal altercation involving Douglas' brother escalated into a physical fight with unknown patrons, leading to Douglas being attacked with a knife.

The plaintiff claims that the club's security failed to provide adequate protection and even forcibly removed him from the premises after he was stabbed five times.

"Once immediately outside the main entrance to the club, Plaintiff collapsed in a blood-soaked heap," the suit says.

Cops got Douglas to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

Douglas is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 for permanent physical and psychological injuries. Nathan Prince represents the plaintiff.
