The Law Clerk will assist judges by conducting legal research, preparing case summaries and memoranda, making verbatim records of court proceedings using audio recording equipment, analyzing legal issues and arguments, drafting proposed opinions as directed by judges or justices, attending hearings or trials where necessary research is required, compiling information for special projects requested by judges, accurately recording court proceedings unless done by third parties using computer-aided equipment per state requirements.
