Holland & Knight has bolstered its Corporate, M&A and Securities Practice Group with the addition of David Ehrlich as a partner in New York.
Mr. Ehrlich focuses his practice on advising financial sponsors and corporate clients on a broad range of complex transactional and investment execution matters, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising and deployment activities, strategic partnerships and joint ventures, commercial transactions, operational counseling, corporate reorganizations and general corporate governance. He has worked with clients across a number of sectors and industries, including defense technology, aerospace, government services, space launch, cybersecurity, telecommunications, logistics and supply chain management, and industrials, among others. He was previously counsel with Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, where he focused his practice on private equity and strategic transactions.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Ehrlich served as chief counsel and investment committee member for Battle Investment Group, a private investment firm focused on control investments in the North American defense, government, aerospace, telecommunications and critical infrastructure sectors. In that role, Mr. Ehrlich was responsible for all legal and compliance activities for the investment firm and its partnerships, funds, investment vehicles and portfolio companies.

Mr. Ehrlich received a J.D. degree from the University of Georgia School of Law and a B.A. degree from Furman University. He previously served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves as a logistics officer.
