Boulder, CO—The 20th Judicial District is organizing a Fresh Start Warrant Forgiveness Event on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Boulder County Justice Center (1777 Sixth Street, Boulder). The event aims to assist individuals in clearing their outstanding warrants without fear of arrest.

Participants will have the opportunity to resolve their cases or set new court dates. Defense attorneys will be available for consultations. Eligible offenses for warrant clearance include misdemeanors and traffic offenses, regardless of conviction status. However, warrants from outside Boulder County and certain serious charges such as third-degree assaults, domestic violence, child abuse, and others are not eligible.

Jefferson County will also host a Fresh Start event simultaneously, marking a first-of-its-kind collaboration between jurisdictions. Individuals can appear in person in one county and virtually in the other to resolve warrants in both jurisdictions.

To check eligibility for the Boulder event, interested parties can email boulderda@bouldercounty.gov.

The Colorado Judicial Branch emphasizes its commitment to providing equal access to justice and enhancing public safety across the state.
