Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry has issued a warning to consumers regarding the potential impacts of Red Lobster restaurant closures and the national chain's bankruptcy filing. Although most of the affected locations are in other states, Red Lobster's website indicates that a location in Erie, Pennsylvania has already been closed.

Attorney General Henry advises consumers to regularly check the Red Lobster website to ascertain the status of their local restaurants and keep track of potential future closures. The closures and bankruptcy proceedings could potentially affect consumers' ability to redeem rewards, loyalty points, coupons, and unused gift cards from Red Lobster.

"Consumers who have rewards or loyalty points and unused gift cards should consider using them sooner than later," Attorney General Henry said.

In case consumers encounter issues while trying to redeem their rewards, loyalty points, coupons, or unused gift cards at their local Red Lobster restaurant which is still operational, they can contact the Office of Attorney General’s Bureau of Consumer Protection at 1-800-441-2555.
