C.J. Fisher, Co-Chair of Fox Rothschild’s Gaming Department, served as lead gaming regulatory counsel to Sports IQ Analytics in its acquisition by DraftKings.
Based in Canada, Sports IQ Analytics “uses advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to provide cutting-edge software solutions for the online sports gambling industry.” The company covers more than 12,000 events a year, offering access to hundreds of in-play markets.
Omer Dor, Sports IQ CEO, said in a statement that he was excited to open а “new chapter in the Sports IQ Analytics journey.” He touted DraftKings as industry leaders “whose desire for winning and being the best” matches that of his own team.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Fisher was assisted by Fox attorneys Daniel L. Krisch, Linda Jeon and Andrew Regan.
