Kenneth Fisher and Jerry Goldfeder Named in City & State New York’s 2024 Trailblazers in Law

Kenneth Fisher, a member of the firm’s Business Law Department, and Jerry Goldfeder, a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department, have been named to City & State New York’s 2024 Trailblazers in Law list. The 2024 Trailblazers in Law list spotlights a select group of leaders who are using their legal training to make New York a better place. This inaugural list recognizes “civil rights lawyers standing up for racial equality, legal services providers representing incarcerated and indigent New Yorkers, and civic-minded attorneys combating fraud, corruption, and abuse.”

Ken concentrates his practice on the public realm of the metropolitan area. His experience includes real estate development, regulatory law, litigation, and investigations. He is a former New York City council member and served as founding chair of the New York City Chapter of the New York League of Conservation Voters and founding chair of the Governors Island Alliance. Ken is a member of the board of directors of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and co-chairs of its Real Estate Committee. He previously served as chair of the New York City Bar Association Land Use Planning & Zoning Committee.

Jerry boasts a 40-year career concentrating on election law and voting rights. His extensive practice involves representing various high-profile candidates and elected officials, including mayors, governors, and several candidates for president of the United States. He has also provided legal counsel to members of the U.S. Congress, the New York State Legislature, New York's City Council, judiciary members, unions, not-for-profits, and various groups on local, state, and federal campaign finance law, lobbying compliance, and governmental procedures.
