Omid Safa Named 2024 Insurance Litigator of the Year by Benchmark Litigation

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that partner Omid Safa has been named 2024 Insurance Litigator of the Year by Benchmark Litigation. A member of the firm’s highly regarded Insurance Recovery group, Omid was celebrated at the annual Benchmark Litigation U.S. Awards, which were held on March 13, 2024, in New York City. The award program recognizes the country’s most distinguished litigators and their firms for their exemplary work over the past twelve months.

The firm’s Insurance Recovery group was also recognized as a finalist for the 2024 Insurance Firm of the Year award, a distinguished honor that the group received in 2023 and 2020.

Omid has successfully represented policyholders in a broad range of disputes across the United States. In the last five years alone, Omid has helped clients secure insurance recoveries and judgments worth nearly $500 million. He has represented policyholders in the financial services, manufacturing, technology, food and beverage, healthcare, defense, and sports/entertainment industries and dealt with claims under a wide array of insurance policies. Omid also routinely counsels some of the largest Fortune 500 companies on cyber-related insurance and risk management issues, as well as provides advice and counseling in connection with M&A transactions.
