NGE achieved victory in a $285 million dispute between Polaroid Corporation’s IP-licensing arm and its former licensee for instant camera products.
After three years of litigation, NGE, in conjunction with attorneys from Maslon LLP, a Minneapolis law firm, tried the case to a Minneapolis jury. The trial concluded after two weeks, with the jury rejecting the licensee’s claims and its demand for $285 million in damages. Intellectual Property partner Kevin May handled the trial with strategic guidance from Intellectual Property partner Lee Eulgen and research assistance from Intellectual Property associate Lee Barrington Stark.
