America First Legal (AFL) has made strategic personnel changes to strengthen its leadership team in order to further its mission of fighting against destructive forces and executive overreach. Gene Hamilton, who previously served as Vice-President and General Counsel, has been appointed as AFL's Executive Director, Executive Vice President, and General Counsel. Reed D. Rubinstein, a former Deputy Associate Attorney General and Senior Advisor, will now serve as Senior Vice President. Dan Epstein, an Assistant Professor of Law, has been named Vice President.

Gene Hamilton brings a wealth of experience to his new role at AFL. Prior to joining AFL, he held positions such as Counselor to the Attorney General at the Department of Justice and General Counsel on the Senate Committee on the Judiciary. Hamilton is a graduate of the Washington and Lee University School of Law and has a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the University of Georgia.

Reed D. Rubinstein, who has been serving as Senior Counselor and Director of Oversight and Investigations since 2021, will now take on the role of Senior Vice President at AFL. Rubinstein has an extensive background in private practice, representing various corporations, financial institutions, and trade associations in constitutional and commercial matters. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School.

Dan Epstein, the newly appointed Vice President of AFL, brings a diverse range of experiences to the organization. Prior to joining AFL, Epstein served as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Associate Counsel to the President, where he managed the White House's defense against investigations and litigation. He also founded and ran Cause of Action, a public-interest law firm, and served as Counsel for the House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Epstein holds a Ph.D. in Political Economy from George Washington University, a J.D. from Emory University School of Law, and a B.A. from Kenyon College.

With these new appointments, AFL is reinforcing its commitment to protecting the nation against threats to its fabric and combating executive overreach. The expanded leadership team will play a crucial role in advancing AFL's mission and ensuring the preservation of constitutional principles.

In a statement regarding the personnel changes, AFL stated, "We are excited to welcome Gene Hamilton, Reed D. Rubinstein, and Dan Epstein to their new positions within our organization. Their extensive experience and expertise will be invaluable as we continue to fight for the principles that our nation was founded upon."

These strategic personnel changes come at a critical time for AFL as they ramp up their efforts to address the challenges facing the nation. As AFL continues to advocate for the preservation of constitutional rights and fight against abuses of executive power, the expanded leadership team will provide the necessary guidance and expertise to navigate these complex issues.

With the newly appointed leaders in place, AFL is poised to make even greater strides in its mission to protect the nation and uphold the principles that define it.
