Rawle & Henderson LLP is pleased to announce that Luke S. Shemeth has been promoted to Of Counsel to the firm. Mr. Shemeth is an experienced litigator who handles the defense of complex civil litigation for individuals, corporations, businesses, municipalities and nonprofit organizations, in areas of New York state matrimonial and family law, medical professional liability, and casualty law.

Prior to joining Rawle in 2022, Mr. Shemeth worked as an agency attorney for New York City Legal Services. During law school, Mr. Shemeth interned with the Connecticut Office of the Attorney General. He also interned with the United Nations in New York City as well as the International Justice Mission in Manila, Philippines. In addition to his legal internships, Mr. Shemeth has volunteered for a variety of international organizations which focus on urban and rural communities in Central America.
