The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) has expressed its concern over a court's biased ruling in an employment dispute case with four former staff members. The OAG has filed motions to reconsider and enter judgment after the judge's decision to continue depositions despite all facts being conceded and the defendant withdrawing its opposition. This ruling goes against Texas court rules and case law, as there were no disputed issues to be tried. The judge, who is a former Travis County Democrat Party Chair, made this decision hastily based on an email that misrepresented the procedural status of the case.

In response to the denial of their motion to reconsider, the OAG accuses the court of disregarding legal precedent, abusing the litigation system, and displaying shocking bias. The OAG believes that the court's actions are an attempt to prolong a political charade and interfere with the day-to-day business of the Texas Attorney General's office.

The OAG criticizes both the plaintiffs and the court for their refusal to accept a favorable outcome in the case. Instead, they continue to waste time and resources by engaging in what the OAG calls "lawfare" against the Attorney General. The OAG is currently facing over 60 lawsuits with the Biden Administration, and their work is being hindered by these distractions.

The court's decision is seen as part of a larger pattern of political bias. The Travis County court has been accused of behaving as a political actor rather than an impartial arbiter. This is not the first time this judge has made politically-motivated decisions that go against the public interest. In the past, she has granted unlawful relief to an illegal alien and signed an illegal "sex change" order without proper procedure or evidence. Such abuse of the court system undermines the public's trust and goes against the core principle of our legal system: impartial justice.

The Attorney General, his agency, and his staff can no longer expect a fair trial in Travis County. The county has become an unfair venue where the court's political leanings determine the fate of litigants. This decision further erodes the public's trust in the justice system.

The OAG's statement highlights the court's shocking bias and disregard for legal precedent in the employment dispute case with former staff members. The OAG is concerned about the court's decision to continue depositions despite no disputed issues remaining. They believe this decision is politically motivated and interferes with their work in fighting lawsuits against the Biden Administration. The OAG also criticizes the court's previous politically-motivated decisions and expresses concern about the erosion of public trust in the justice system.
