LOS ANGELES (Legal Newsline) - A McDonald's customer says she never would've bought all those breakfast combos if she'd known she was being charged extra for orange juice.

McDonald's Corporation and McDonald's USA, LLC are facing a class-action lawsuit filed by Amber Meyers on Dec. 19 in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. It alleges that McDonald's has violated state consumer protection laws, breached contract terms, negligently misrepresented their products, and unjustly enriched themselves.

The complaint revolves around the fast-food giant's breakfast combo meal. Meyers argues that McDonald's has been falsely advertising the inclusion of orange juice in its breakfast combo meal. Meyers claims that she was unknowingly charged extra for the orange juice - a detail she only discovered recently.

Meyers asserts that she would not have purchased the orange juice had she known about the additional charge. The suit accuses McDonald's of misleading consumers by advertising an inclusive cost for the breakfast combo meal on its menu boards while adding a surcharge for customers who order orange juice as part of their meal.

Meyers is represented by Cameron Nazemi of CWN, Inc.
