John Bradley Contributes Introductory Note to the Beijing Convention on the Judicial Sale of Ships

Global Transportation Finance Shareholder John Bradley has authored the introductory note to the Beijing Convention on the Judicial Sale of Ships to be published in an upcoming issue of International Legal Materials (ILM). Published bimonthly by the American Society of International Law (ASIL), ILM contains the full text of important treaties and agreements, and other international documents, together with explanatory notes.

With over 4,000 members from over 100 countries, the ASIL is a “nonprofit, nonpartisan, educational membership organization founded in 1906 and chartered by Congress in 1950.” It “holds Special Consultative Status to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations and is a constituent society of the American Council of Learned Societies.”

Mr. Bradley was selected to write the introductory note to the Convention based upon his previous scholarship on the topic which appeared in the November 2022 issue of the GTF Newsletter.
