A team of Thompson Coburn attorneys served as the New York State contributors for the American Bar Association's (ABA) Third Edition of Commercial Lending Law. The two-volume publication outlines all aspects of commercial lending laws in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and Canada.

The TC contributors wrote, “This chapter is intended to provide commercial lenders contemplating the extension of credit to New York borrowers with an overview of the various provisions of New York law that affect commercial lending in New York.” The team’s chapter spans 12 sections on topics such as basic legal structure, authority to do business and taxation, real estate lending, personal property lending and equipment leasing, guaranties and suretyship, insolvency laws, litigation and arbitration, and more.

The TC contributing team was led by partners Lee Podair, Mark Indelicato, John Amato, James Kardon, Mark Graham, Ninette Bordoff and Richard Lawton. Associate contributors include Mona Patel, Anna Piszczatowski, Sevil Clifford, Taylor Griffin and Clayton Voss.
