Attorney General Lynn Fitch announced thesentencing of Norman Keith Aycock of Boyle, Mississippi, who was investigatedand prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office for six counts, including Filming Another with an Expectation of Privacy and Voyeurism.
“Exploiting the very children with whom you are entrusted is a seriousbetrayal,”said General Fitch.“I am grateful to my team for their hard workinvestigating and prosecuting this predator, as well as the Bolivar Sheriff’sDepartment and the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Northern District, for their partnership on this case. It is my hope that closing this chapter will help thevictims and their families on their journey to healing and recovery.”On December 11, 2023, Aycock was sentenced by Bolivar County Circuit CourtJudge Charles E. Webster to 15 years to serve in the custody of the MississippiDepartment of Corrections on 4 counts of Filming Another with an Expectationof Privacy under the age of 16, 1 count of Filming Another with an Expectationof Privacy, and 1 count of Voyeurism. Aycock will be required to serve hissentence day-for-day without the possibility of parole.
Aycock was sentenced to 30 years on related federal charges,following an investigation by the Attorney General’s Office and Bolivar CountySheriff’s Department, and Aycock’s state and federal sentences will runconcurrently. Aycock must also register as a sex offender upon his release fromincarceration.
