Fox Rothschild is pleased to welcome Robert C. Seiger to the Philadelphia office as partner in the Labor and Employment Department.
“Rob has extensive experience working with professional athletes and sports franchises to navigate complex immigration laws, regulations and compliance matters,” said Fox’s Philadelphia Office Managing Partner Lauren P. McKenna. “His substantial immigration knowledge lends itself to clients across multiple industries. We are thrilled to welcome him to the firm.”
Seiger counsels employers and professional athletes on a full spectrum of immigration matters. He serves as outside immigration counsel to several National Hockey League franchises and represents college and university athletic departments in immigration and related compliance issues for their foreign athletes.
Seiger works closely with compliance officers, human resources leaders, talent acquisition professionals, managers and foreign nationals, to help manage complex issues including EB-1, PERMs, immigrant visas, J-1 waivers and outbound issues, among others.
He also represents employers in I-9 audits, complex immigration cases, consular processing and immigration ramifications of criminal charges.
Seiger advises and represents employers and individuals before the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Department of State.
He earned his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
