Ballard Spahr Minneapolis Office Managing Partner Karla M. Vehrs has been named to Twin Cities Business’ list of 100 People to Know in 2024.

Ms. Vehrs has led the Minneapolis office–one of the largest of Ballard Spahr’s 15 across the country–since 2019. In her practice, she handles complex financial litigation on behalf of corporate trustees, lenders, investors, and agribusinesses in state and federal courts across the country. Her work includes loan enforcement, fraud investigation and prosecution, receiverships, loss recovery, and fiduciary and lender-liability defense. She is a member of the firm’s national Distressed Assets and Opportunities team.
Ms. Vehrs’ inclusion on the list follows that of Chair-Elect Peter V. Michaud, who was named to the 2023 100 People to Know.
